Hot farfalle or fusili with hummus and chili
Warm farfalle or fusili with hummus and chili – an original, hearty dish with a creamy texture and spicy intensity!

Ingredients (2 servings):
160 g farfalle or fusili (preferably wholemeal)
120 g hummus (ready-made or homemade)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small red pepper (or 1/2 hot chili), finely diced
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp. chili flakes or chili flakes
Juice of 1/2 lemon
A little water from boiling the pasta
Parsley for serving
(Optional) 1 tbsp tahini for extra depth
Execution instructions:
Boil the farfalle in salted water according to the instructions, until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the water before draining.
Meanwhile, sauté the onion and garlic with the olive oil in a pan for 2–3 minutes.
Add the pepper, paprika and the bell pepper. Sauté for another 2 minutes.
Reduce heat and add hummus, 3–4 tbsp of the pasta water and lemon juice. Stir until a creamy sauce is formed.
Pour the drained farfalle into the pan and stir to coat evenly.
If you want, add tahini for extra texture and flavor.
Serve with fresh parsley and optionally a little nutritional yeast on top.
