"Purple Power" smoothie with berries, beetroot & chia seeds

"Purple Power" smoothie with berries, beetroot & chia seeds – an energizing drink full of fiber, vitamins and energy.

Ingredients (1 serving ~ 350 ml):


100 g blueberries or mixed berries

50 g boiled or roasted beetroot (or pre-cooked vacuum)

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 pitted date (or 1/2 banana)

200 ml plant-based milk (or water with 1 tsp. honey)

1/2 tsp lemon zest or ginger (optional for extra intensity)



Tips for all smoothies:


  1. If the fruit is fresh, add 2–3 ice cubes for a cooler texture.


  2. You can add 1 tsp. flaxseed or nutritional yeast for a boost in Omega 3/vitamins.


  3. If you want to make it a breakfast meal, add 1–2 tablespoons of oatmeal.
