Beef burgers with oats
Beef burgers with oats, a healthy version, rich in protein and fiber, without bread.

Ingredients (for 4 servings / 8 burgers):
500 g minced beef (preferably lean, 5% fat)
1 small onion, chopped or grated
1 clove garlic, crushed (optional)
50 g oat flakes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp oregano or thyme
1/2 tsp cumin (optional)
Salt and pepper
Execution instructions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with your hand or spoon until smooth.
Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so that the oats can absorb moisture and bind better.
Shape into 8 small burgers.
Bake on a grill, oven (200°C for 20–25 minutes) or non-stick pan, turning them halfway through for even baking.
